Watching your “due date” come and go… Waiting with abandon for labor to start, both wanting it to and feeling apprehensive that it will. Wanting to meet the tiny newborn that kicks and wiggles in such a familiar way, but knowing the hard work that it takes to get him from your belly to your arms.

Waiting is one of the many ways women are pushed to the edge during motherhood…Waiting begs surrender and all but forces trust.
