Joy of Life is so happy to support Postpartum Progress and their upcoming event Climb Out of the Darkness. Postpartum Progress is a national organization with a mission to “create healthier families by raising awareness, reducing stigma, providing social support and connecting mothers to help for perinatal mood and anxiety disorders like postpartum depression”.

As  midwives we honor the life transitions that motherhood brings, and the challenges that new families must face in the midst of these changes. As a society we need to do more to support new mothers, and Durango is so blessed to have a local chapter of this wonderful organization!
