Joy of Life officially welcomed Beka Blythe CPM. RM. LM. into the practice the end of 2014. Beka grew up in Bayfield/Durango area and is so excited to serve as a homebirth midwife in the community that she loves. Her background includes working on Labor & Delivery at Mercy Regional Medical Center, working as a certified doula then quickly moving into midwifery studies. She graduated summer 2014 from the National College of Midwifery and passed the North American Registry of Midwives exam. Beka is currently offering prenatal care, homebirth midwifery services, water birth, placenta encapsulation and lactation consulting. She will be serving clients through Joy of Life in Durango, Bayfield, Pagosa Springs, Aztec, Farmington, Mancos, Cortez and surrounding areas. Congratulations Beka!
