On August 3rd Joy gave birth to a heathy baby boy.  Donovan Dean Frazer was born into the hands of his father, Danny, in the comfort and safety of their home.  Little Donovan’s entry into the world was peaceful and natural, setting him up the best way possible, for a healthy and happy start to life!

“I’m incredibly grateful for my birth team during this intense, though fast birth.  I felt quite out of control in the last moments before birth and to be held during that wild intensity by familiar support was comforting and grounding to me.  I felt total love and respect by those surrounding me during the birth of my second son.  Though it was a very intense experience, as birth often is, I feel left with peace and courage and a sense of strength and accomplishment.  I know this positive birth experience will help me with the enormous job of raising two boys. ”       (Quote from Joy)

Donovan’s Nana and big brother Everett were there for the birth along with Joy and Danny. Care for Joy and baby Donovan during labor and birth was provided by loving midwives Carole Nighswander and Beka Blythe.
